What is Berkhamsted Food Festival?
Berkhamsted Food Festival is a food festival which showcases our finest local eateries, producers and food suppliers in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Food tastings, demos, a marketplace, children’s entertainment and live music all come together for a delightfully delicious day that benefits local charities The Hospice of St Francis and DENS.
The inaugural Berkhamsted Food Festival was held in September 2015 - on a fabulously sunny day, we welcomed over 25 local food producers, and over 1500 people through the gates. Thousands of portions of food were devoured, local ale drunk, music danced along to, and foodie items purchased!
2018 is going to be our year to take some time to get creative and we are super busy connecting and discovering new foodie trends and talents all the time.
We will be back in 2019 with an even bigger & better BFF

Christine Delaney - BFF Founder and Director
She had a vision - and she made it happen! A fervent foodie, Christine brings to the festival not only many years of experience working in the food / hospitality industry (this woman knows her onions!) but also has a genuine love and passion for good food. She also believes that when it comes to kids, good eating habits should be learnt, and therefore taught - and this festival will inspire all ages. She fits in BFF around her family and work as the new Director of Events for the very famous Bonnie May Food & Events company.
Sam and Mark Smith - Designers
Sam and Mark of DesignSmith worked their wonders last year creating a fantastic brand which will see Berkhamsted Food Festival as a staple in the town's calendar for years!
